Before I started party prepping, I needed to figure out what outfit I wanted to wear. It was between the neon yellow top, this pink one shoulder maxi dress and metallic silver pumps above, or this flirty off-the-shoulder shirt and INC jeggings below. I ended up choosing the pants + shirt combo because of the pretty ruffle overlay at the necklace and the ultra-comfortable pants because I knew I’d be running around while playing hostess with the mostess. Once my clothing was picked out, it was PARTY TIME!!!

I often share behind the scenes on Instagram and Snapchat, but I thought it was time to share a little peak at my office space! Google Home is a smart speaker developed by Google and it enables users to speak voice commands to interact with different services through the Google Home’s intelligent personal assistant. With Google Home, I can listen to music, add items to my shopping list, change the temperature – with just a simple voice command. I can even change the colors of the lights in my room!! It all starts by saying “Ok Google”. One of my favorite things Google Home helps me with is calculation. When I’m working through my total expenses for the month or invoicing, it’s so easy to just ask, “Ok Google, what is 18% of $1250?”

Plus, I’d say it fits pretty perfectly on my desk, don’t ya think?

This morning, I asked Google Home to play some music for cooking because I was baking a cake for a friend’s birthday party. It’s so nice to have a device that plays music based on my mood and activity. Now if you need me, I’ll be decorating this cake!
