Ehm...is anyone else ready for some SUNSHINE?!? ☀️ I don’t know about you, but I can not wait to lay back out at the pool with my cocktail in hand! I teamed up with Williams Sonoma to get the party started early with their newest Broken Shaker cocktail mixes.🍹😍 Broken Shaker is one of my favorite bars in Miami AND it just got named best bar in America by the Daily Meal! So cool!

If you know me, you know I love me some fruity drinks so I was SUPER excited to try these Broken Shaker flavors. Here’s a peek at the full line-up of yummy flavors! Floridita Tropicale, Havana Smash, Chi Chi Collins, and Caribbean Tonic. Chi Chi Collins (which is an amazing combo of watermelon, strawberry, white ginger and hint of tarragon! Hellllooooo!!) was my fave!

Colorful Guide to Palm Springs

It’s no secret that my favorite place in the whole world is Palm Springs! And if you were following me along on Instagram, you may have seen that we headed to California for the December holidays! We got to visit my old stomping groups in Los Angeles before heading to Michael and I's special place, Palm Springs.

Ever since we’ve been back, you guys have been asking for Palm Springs recommendations! And guess what?!? I’ve rounded everything up in one big post, so you can figure out where to stay, what to do and my can’t-miss desert paradise destinations! There are plenty of palm trees and gorgeous colors to be seen in this post, so be ready to have some major wanderlust and ready to plan your next trip to the West Coast! There's a reason they say the West Coast is the best coast, right?!

Every time we visit Palm Springs, we stay at our favorite hotel The Saguaro (or better known as the rainbow hotel!)! It's seriously a tropical rainbow paradise and you can see why in the photos below. The decor at The Saguaro is soooo fun and I can spend hours upon hours walking around because literally almost everything is photo-worthy. literally everything is photo-worthy. It's also dog friendly, which is a huge plus in my book! Insider tip: Rent a room with a pool view AND mountain view to get the best balcony shots.

On your way to Palm Springs, you HAVE to stop at Cabazon for a photo op with the dinosaurs. This popular Instagram stop is about 45 minutes outside of Palm Springs right off the highway.

After exploring Cabazon, we rented bikes from The Saguaro and did a Palm Springs door tour. The most popular spot is #thatpinkdoor! The pink door is on Sierra Way and there are tons of other fun ones in this neighborhood, as well! Here are a few of my favorite ones:

Another must-see Palm Springs destination is Moorten Botanical Garden. We go here every visit to frolic amongst over 3,000 cacti, succulents and other desert plants. If you are really into nature, I highly recommend driving an hour to Joshua Tree. It's one of my favorite parks because you get to climb ROCKS! Definitely plan at least half a day for this adventure and I promise you won't regret it!

After a day exploring Joshua Tree, Michael and I were SO sore so we booked a fabulous couple's massage at Palm Mountain Resort & Spa. Located right in Downtown Palm Springs, it was the perfect afternoon massage after our long day of hiking. We were also able to use the Resort’s pool and hot tub facilities following our massages, which is included with all spa treatment! Here is a link to current spa specials if you're interested in booking a treatment when you visit Palm Springs!

And here's the scoop on our favorite restaurants in the city. We stumbled across Elmer's for breakfast one day and boy, did it NOT disappoint! They are known for their german pancakes, which I ordered, but also have amazing eggs, bacon, and toast.
Cheeky's is another popular brunch spot and is definitely one of Palm Springs most popular restaurants so make sure to go early because it gets crazy PACKED. For lunch or dinner, we recommend El Jefe: This is the restaurant at The Saguaro and is so YUM! I recommend the tacos and the nachos. Oh, and some guacamole!

All in all, our trip to Palm Springs was amazing and I can't wait to be back! California will always hold a special place in my heart!
