30A Travel Guide

Each year, Michael and I travel to Florida’s gorgeous 30A for our birthdays in August. This year was our 4th time and we were lucky enough to be traveling on my actual birthday (happy birthday to me!). If you’re not familiar with 30A, it’s a bunch of beach towns off Florida’s gulf coast, with cities including Seaside, Panama City Beach, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. 30A is a lifestyle — it’s a happy place we all dream of when we need a little time to unwind, unplug and celebrate life. I’ve rounded everything up from our trip into one big blog post to make it easy for all of you to know exactly where to stay, what to do and places to eat the next time you visit 30A!

WHERE TO STAY

ROSEMARY BEACH INN

Michael and I normally stay in Panama City Beach for our 30A visit, but decided to step it up and stay in one of the gulf’s quaintest towns, Rosemary Beach! It’s nestled between PCB and Seaside, off the Emerald Coast in South Walton.

Rosemary Beach is full of charm - which is just one reason why it was named by CNN as one of America’s most romantic small towns.

We stayed at the Rosemary Beach Inn for our entire trip and it was SUCH a delight! The Inn is a boutique hotel located literally in the HEART of downtown, steps to the beach and all of the town’s best shops and dining options. Everything is walkable from here. Each morning, we got up and had our complimentary breakfast downstairs before walking around the town center to admire all of the gorgeous homes and architecture. Seriously, every turn was so romantic.

I mean, can this building get ANY more beautiful?!

Our room was nestled on the top floor and was gorgeous in every way. The bed was super comfortable, there was a mini living room area for us to hang out, perfect views of the town square and ocean, and a great size bathroom! What more could a girl ask for?

This was the view from our bedroom. Can you say DREAMY??!!

There’s also happy hour every day at the fist floor restaurant, a pool, plenty of street parking, amazing bath products, free WiFi and so much more!! My favorite amenity was the complimentary two beach chairs and umbrella! Every time I go on a beach vacation, I end up spending a ton on umbrella rental for some shade – so this was such a delightful surprise!

The best part about the Inn and Rosemary Beach is that it’s perfect year-round!  I am definitely going to plan another getaway in fall or winter – and hope you do, too!!  A little birdie told me they offer a discount for midweek stays - stay 3 nights, and get 20% off! To book, just call 844-865-5783 and use code RBWD.  Stay 2 nights  - get 10% off, call and use code RI10! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

WHAT TO DO

DAY TRIP TO SEASIDE

Seaside is one of my favorite little towns in 30A! The colorful houses are so much fun to admire and look at, plus there is the cutest little post office in the heart of town. It's about a 15 minute drive from Rosemary Beach.

GOOFY GOLF

Michael and I go to Goofy Golf each and every year – and it’s so much fun! Located in Panama City Beach, Goofy Golf is the perfect place for families and date night looking for some fun mini-golf. Here are some of my favorite holes below:

WHERE TO EAT

Charlie's Donuts: This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. It's located in Alys Beach - and we walked from the Rosemary Beach Inn to Charlie's on Saturday morning. My favorite was the oreo donut!

The Red Bar: Red Bar was by far the most fun restaurant we went to. It’s located in Grayton Beach and is well-known for its delicious food and live music.  If the food doesn't get you, the music will.

All in all, our trip to 30A was amazing and I can't wait to be back! The Rosemary Beach Inn is now our home away from home!
