24 Hours in Serenbe

This weekend, Michael and I hopped in the car & made the short drive from Atlanta to Serenbe. If you’re not familiar with Serenbe, it’s a wellness community connected to nature on the edge of Atlanta. It’s a cute neighborhood full of fresh food, fresh air and focused on wellbeing (plus the houses there are so stunning!). We’ve taken a few day trips here, but this was our first weekend that we decided to stay the night for a mini babymoon! With COVID travel precautions, we wanted to visit somewhere nearby and within driving distance for our babymoon - and are so glad to have experienced Serenbe for one last vacation before our son is born.

Upon arrival to Serenbe, we checked into the Inn at Serenbe. We stayed at the Main House, which is made up of 16 rooms. We were in room 6, which had the cutest balcony - perfect for a cup of morning coffee.

While Serenbe is made up of over 1,000 acres and 15 miles of trails (that go by two waterfalls so you must check it out!), the Inn also is next to the most fun animal village, relaxing swings and rocking chairs, a pool, hot tub, cabana, and croquet lawn for tons of relaxing. Look at some of the cuties we got to feed during our stay! You can visit Guest Services to pick up some food and head to the Animal Village to feed some of their farm animals.

When I think of what I want for a babymoon, I think of happy feelings, romantic dates, ultimate relaxation, and serenity. And this was JUST the place to experience all of that…and some more!

After settling in our room, we headed to the Spa. What is a babymoon without some R&R and spa time?! The spa is a holistic, natural remedy retreat - and was truly an amazing experience. Michael and I both got massages, and then I treated myself to a facial as well! Our massages were amazing! I never had a prenatal massage and felt so comfortable the entire time.

After the spa, we rented a golf cart from the Inn and drove around to check out some of the gorgeous real estate.

After driving around, we headed back to our room to get ready to dine at Serenbe Farmhouse, a locally sourced restaurant situated directly next to the Inn. And what can I say? The meal was SO DELICIOUS! Even if you are not staying at the Inn, I highly recommend you checking this restaurant out for a meal one day. Our waiter Clay was also fabulous!

Back to the meal - their ingredients are so fresh and the meals are swoon-worthy! Farm-to-table is always the best way to go for date night. We both ordered the filets, a salad, soup and delicious dessert. We also headed to the Farmhouse for breakfast on Sunday (included in your nightly rate!).

And before we left, we had to stop by Blue Eyed Daisy - a local coffee shop and bake shop for some cookies!

Overall, we had an AMAZING stay at Serenbe. It was the perfect babymoon - and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or family trip away. We can’t wait to visit again!
